I was a little shocked at the ease with which this lock bowed down to me. Its imperative that when you open this lock, you DO NOT close the shackle with any force while the cylinder is still in the open position. You will spin the cylinder and often render the lock useless. So be warned.Top of the keyway tension is a must for this series. The usual place for a torque wrench is designed in such a way that the wrench will kinda get stuck and have binding issues. Kinda annoying.Key bitting on this sucker was 67657. 5 pins. The usual assortment of securities. With bitting like that, the securities just dont function as well as they might have with a more sinister bitting arrangement.Happy times! Hola Peepoids!In this edition of Dour's lockpicking adventures, Dour picks an imported Texan Abus 83/45. It differs notably from the Abus locks I'd picked previously in the keyway and cylinder. VERY different. Definately harder too. The lock itself takes a while to false set, but once you do, it gives a great false set and then the false set grows with every pin set after that. The last pin is the killer. It almost always drops other pins as you try to set it. Takes alot of practice to master this lock!!!Thanks Spacey Stacey for the Lock.
