The next two days on the bus nothing really happened. They drove and drove to their next stop for their first big concert of the tour. Lexi slept a lot in the bunks. Joe worried but he assumed it was because of the medication. Little did he know that it was she had major headaches and was scared of him noticing.One day Joe went to check up on her and opened the curtain to her bunk. She was fast asleep. Her hair was all over her face and her body was twisted in a weird position. Joe laughed at her. She was in softball shorts and Joe noticed her legs again. This time he was concerned and decided to call Sam.Lexi got up a little later than the boys. She came out from the bunk area to find Joe, nick and Kevin sitting on the table in the kitchen. Mr. and Mrs. J were out with Frankie. She walked over to them and Joe was sitting on one side of the table with his head down with what looked like tears streaming down his face. Kevin and nick sat on the other side with disappointed looks on their faces. She was confused and didnt know what was going on. Lexi: guys whats the deal? [trying to tame her hair]Nick: you tell us lex.Lexi: what? I think those late night talks with tiff really caught up with you Jonas.Kevin: this isnt funny lex. This is serious.Lexi: [looked over at Joe who didnt say a word or even looked at her] oook...well how about you tell me whats going on so I dont joke around. Nick: lift up your shorts.Lexi: [surprised] excuse me?Joe: just do it lex.Lexi: you guys are crazy. Im not going to lift up my shorts. What kind of girl do you think I am.Joe: [yelling] just do it!Lexi: [looked at Joe stunned] what is your deal? You cant talk to me like that! [getting mad]Joe: just lift up your shorts Alexis. [talking through his teeth]Lexi: NO!Joe got up from his eat and lifted her shorts to reveal her upper legs full of lines. They looked like scratches. Some were old scars and some looked like fresh ones.Kevin: [in a whisper] oh my god Lexi.Lexi: [hitting Joe] get off of me! [pulling her shorts down] what the hell is your problem! Why are you touching me.Joe: you need help Lexi.Lexi: no I dont! I dont know what your talking about [eyes beginning to water]Nick: we know you're a cutter.Lexi: what is this some kind of intervention! You guys dont know jack! Leave me alone!She began to walk towards the bunks but Joe grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug. She began to hit him with fists trying to get out of his grip and began to cry. She kept that up until she gave up and began to cry with him. Nick Joe and Kevin all cried with her.Joe: I called Sam. She told me you used to cut yourself when your mom passed away. I began to notice fresh ones when you would sleep. Lexi why are you cutting again?[Lexi just cried into Joes chest]Nick: Lexi you need help. And we are here to help you. You just need to tell us whats going on.Kevin: yeah lex. We arent here to judge. We just want to know youre ok.Lexi got out of Joes arms and began to yell.Lexi: you want to know if Im ok. Well no Kevin. As a matter of fact Im not ok. I have cancer. My mom isnt here with me. Im scared out of my mind! Im trying to come on tour to enjoy the last couple of months I have left but I cant. You want to know why? Because if I take my meds Im a zombie. So I though 'hmmm why dont I just stop taking them.' I did and look at me. I look like one big hot mess!! Im sleeping constantly because I have headaches! There you happy? Im not taking my meds. Is that what you wanted to hear? Is that all you need from me? [began to breathe heavily and was sobbing]Joe: [looking at her disappointed] youre not taking your meds?Lexi: you solved that mystery Scooby doo!Joe: I cant believe you. [He shook his head and stormed out of the bus.]Kevin: lex you need to calm down.Lexi: no! Im not going to calm down! I hate everyone treating me like a baby! You guys just need to mind your own business! Just like everyone else in this world does too!Nick: what do you mean everyone else? Youre only with us.Lexi: im not stupid nick. I go on the computer and see what the latest news on you guys is. LATEST HEADLINE: JOE JONAS' CANCEROUS GIRLFRIEND, YEAH SHE HAS CANCER BUT CAN SHE AT LEAST TRY AND NOT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT. Or how about this one its my favorite. [sarcastically in a high pitched voice] LIKE OH MY GAWD! WHY IS JOE EVEN WITH HER. SHES UGLY! HES TOTALLY MY HUSBAND. HE SHOULD LIKE SOOOOO DUMP THAT WRECK. [she looked at Kevin and nick who just had their heads down with nothing to say] Yeah. I didnt think you would have anything else to say. [She walked out of the kitchen area and locked herself in the bathroom.]------------------Wow. Intense. Part two up soon.
