(tears start to roll down katies cheeks)katie: now i live here by myself.joe: how do you pay for it? its not exactly a small house.katie: well everything in my grandmothers will was left to me, the house and all her money, but every month my grandfather sends me money to pay the rent and for food, and like the water bill, and stuff like that. i work at abercrombie in the mall, and thats like my shopping money. but i havnt had a real parent since i was 10. my grandma was good to me, but she couldnt do much.(katie puts her head down and starts to cry)katie: and the reason i smoke so much, is because whenever i start to think about this, i just, i dont know. i guess becuase my mom was always smoking, its just a habit.
