The amazingly quirky and inspired Jellybottys release their long awaited tribute to legendery Hammer Horror Icon and Star Wars Grand Moff Tarkin Actor, Peter Cushing on September 1st. The Jellybotty Song "Peter Cushing Lives in Whitstable" has been a very popular underground Song for years. The Song has a humorous take, based on the fact that the band were living just along the road from Mr Cushing in the small English Seaside Town of Whitstable Kent. The jellybottys individually and as a band quite often stopped to have a quick chat with this totally accomplished and brilliant British Actor. The song is very catchy, infectious and lyrics as funny as they come, hence the song is now being famously featured on Stephen Fry's upcoming Q.I TV Show Series "C" DVD release on Sept 1st. This video promo has the original version of the song recorded in a, quote " Bedroom type studio", it has never been released before now, the band call it, for it was supposed to be just that, "a quick demo recording of the tune from way back! Sounds pretty gigantic to most people! The Jellybottys are releasing their brand new, up to date 2008 version of the Song on Sept 1st, complete with a grand and glorious waltzy middle 8.
