A new mount called the Swift Springstrider has been added to the Noblegarden Event which takes place in the month of April from the 8th to the 15th. The mount is obtainable by looting 500 Chocolates from Brightly Colored Eggs AND there is a rare chance to get it from within a Brightly Colored Egg. I haven’t looked up the percentage yet but I did get one from an egg before I competed gathering 500 chocolates. What sucks is that they are BOP which means I can’t sell the other

Mysterious Camel Figurine is a rare item that spawns in Uldum and has a small chance of porting you to a rare which drops a camel mount. I have only been able to find a handful which all resorted in 25 gold dust. None the less I keep trying and wanted to post some information for others searching.

One of the better posts on WoWhead talked about an add-on called Routes. I installed the add-on and must say I like it better than TomTom and a couple others I’ve used in the past. Since I’m using Routes the following information pertains only to it at this time.

• Download Routes from Curse.com and install
• Log into WoW and type /routes to open the interface
• Click on Add, create name and call it Mysterious Camel Figurine, then click on Create Bare Route
• Next exit the game and locate your Warcraft installation folder
• Inside it locate your WTF folder
• Inside the WTF folder locate another folder called SavedVariables
• Inside your SavedVariable folder is a file called Routes.lua
• Edit that file and add the following code below:

What this will do is generate a flight path for you to follow. Make sure you have _NPC scan installed as well with the Rare Mob number of 50410. Since there is a lot of discussion about other numbers I went ahead and added 50409 and 50411 to my list.

Of the ten newest added pets and challenges my final tame was Magria. As with Ankha I got nekkid first and then cast tame beast. He does attack but it’s nothing you shouldn’t be able to live through. I tamed him in the same spot after finally switching specs, getting nekkid and relocating him.

I’m glad that this is the last one because I have no more room in my stables. I would also like to thank the horde hunter who attacked me while my screen was loading from exiting Molten Front. If not for you I would have missed seeing Magria being up! Good luck fellow hunters!

Skarr toyed with me about 5 times which ended badly for myself. Finally I figured it out and away we went. Other people talked about just hitting deterrence and getting lots of haste up to tame faster but I found a simpler way, at least for me it worked.

1. I cast a DPS shot to get the party started.
2. He cast fireball back at me.
3. I cast tame beast which forces him to stop and cast Fieroclast Barrage. which hurts like hell btw.
4. I cast silencing shot and tame beast.
5. I am now his master.

And that is how I did it. He does hit hard but you can take the fireball spell with no problem. You can’t take the Fieroclast Barrage because it hits hard and also stuns you.

Sadly I tamed this spider so fast I don’t remember what I did! If I’m not mistaken I used deterrence and then cast tame beast. Either way he was really easy and I love how bright his skin color is. He is located at the bottom of the ramp that leads to the other spiders that look like him.

My first few attempts at this ended poorly and was entirely my fault, except that one time where he walked over the faulty trap that just sat there… Anyways with this guy you need to slow him with frost or freeze traps. When you do this it starts killing his energy which allows you to tame him. The object is to get his energy to 20 before taming but if his energy hits 0 he dies. I think it took 2 traps and I would recommend killing all the rock guys in the area so you can just kite him in a circle on the small island where he’s found. Other than that it’s cut and dry.

This guy was easy! While some hunters may find it hard I used MM spec and kept him snared only with Concussive Shop and Chimera. A lap around the area were he spawns and with 20 energy left I tamed him. The key here is to keep him snared / slowed cause if not he likes to catch his prey and then, well… you can imagine.

I don’t have a damage report for this guy as I tamed him first try and since I don’t like to be eaten I stayed away!

In the past 24 hours I have knocked out 5 of the newest rare pets. It would have been 6 but I accidentally killed Skitterflame… fail I know..

Anyways here is my 5th pet and it was super easy. He spawns on the rock platforms in the area listed on the location map below. This was a simple cast tame beast and wait. I didn’t have to do anything special since he casts a pretty hard hitting spell but it does have a cast time which means you’ve got time even if he hits you several time.

This is my new tank pet, my other is an Ooze. Enjoy and good luck fellow hunters!

This guy killed me more times than any pet I’ve tamed. The key here is to not get hit by his toxic poison. Basically when he starts to cast you use deterrence and tame beast. I really can’t give much more information because that’s all I did. This is a pretty spider, if that’s even possible and now has a happy home. He looked a little flustered running around those rocks all the time. Just remember if you get hit by his toxic poison you are going to die, no questions asked.
